FRENCH IMMERSION

Learn to speak and understand the basics of the French language through immersion. This class will be all about talking, talking, and more talking in French! You will learn all about food, home life, how to order at a restaurant, daily life phrases, the weather, and so much more! Memory work will be key in this class.

Target Age: 8th -12th Grade (parents can take class)

Adults welcome but must have an interview with the teacher prior to being accepted.

Requirements: No prior knowledge of French necessary.

Credits: ½ credit per semester

Teacher: Valerie Sandquist

Valerie was born in Concord, NC, but grew up on the mission field in Québec, Canada. She spent 1 st -12 th gradeVin the French school system before coming to the US for her college degree. She is a native speaker of both French and English and enjoys teaching others the beauty of the French language through immersion. She has 6 years of experience teaching and/or tutoring French to high schooler students. She is currently a mom of three teens and loves homeschooling them. She has a passion for young people and enjoys teaching about life and education through a biblical worldview.
