ART - HANDS ON ART HISTORY
Art History taught with a hands-on approach for students to create and learn from artists through the ages.
12 Week Course
Art history is full of color and vibrant stories. Join us for a class that will be project based focusing on artists “then and now.” Learn history in a memorable way by creating projects based on the artists we study. Students will explore the lives of artists and the influence their art had (and still has) on society. This class will take a broad overview including looking at other historical events happening while the artists were creating. We will choose artists that we study to create artwork through hands-on projects.
Every class will include hands-on time for creating artwork. While we will have discussions about the artists, the students will also be creating their own unique artwork in each class inspired by the artists we study.
