ADVANCED BIOLOGY
This class is an excellent choice if your upper-class high school student needs another lab science or is just very interested in learning about the human body. This class will cover the anatomy and physiology of all the systems of the human body with some fun labs and an optional field trip at the end of the year. There will be at least three dissections, including a fetal pig. We will also explore diseases to a limited degree through three case studies. This class will also be helpful in preparing your student for college, as the requirements will be modeled after the rigor of a college level class with enough grace to help students adjust. Come prepared to learn about God's marvelous design of the human body! Please note that the reproductive system is covered thoroughly and appropriately by this curriculum.
