drum lessons

Private drum set lessons for students of any age or skill level. Students will have a blast learning to play drums in any style of music!

Course Summary:

Categories of study include reading, technique, coordination and independence, and playing various styles of music. Each week, practice assignments will be given and a reasonable amount of practice outside of the lessons will be expected. All equipment for the lessons will be provided but students will need at least a practice pad and a few books for practice outside of lesson times. Books will be selected based on students’ ability level and interests.

Course Outline:

Lessons will be offered weekly in a 1-on-1 format. Typically, lessons will be 30 minutes each, though hour-long lessons are also available depending on the student’s needs. Students will learn how to read drum notation, how to play with good technique, and how to play songs in various styles of music. Lessons should be fun so students will have the opportunity to learn songs they love. Whether learning the drum set for the first time or studying advanced concepts, students of all skill levels are welcome!

Tuition: 

$400.00 per 12 week 1/2 hour lessons

***William will assign students to their lesson slot once registered.

**Annual Registration Fee: $85 per student or $145 for family.
