INSTRUCTOR:  RICHARD PLOTTS

Richard graduated from college with a dual language degree.( German & Spanish). Oakland University.  Ice taught foreign languages for over 26 yrs in public schools. German, Spanish, Italian and a little Swedish, Greek and Hebrew privately.Richard also currently teach Bible classes in 3 different schools, both HS & MS!  A great delight of his!  Along with his wonderful wife of 42 years, they have  planted and pastored Hispanic Churches since 1999. And, they  continue in this adventure today.  Richard also has 3 grown children (which they homeschooled) & now have 5 exceptional grandsons!

GERMAN 1

Target Levels:  Ages 13 - 18

24 Weeks

Heavy influence will be given to speaking the German language. This will be accompanied with insight and understanding of the rich culture and wonderful customs of German-speaking countries. Within a short time, students will begin to understand the spoken language and then set off on speaking themselves. The intent is on submerging students in the target language as much as possible.

Students will be given handouts and study aids each time we meet.

Students are responsible for purchasing and using a binder or notebook with dividers, as well as colored pencils or pens. 

This class meets for 1 hour & 15 minutes each class.
