Explore the wonders of our life-sustaining planet from a biblical and scientific lens! 

Apologia’s award-winning Earth Science curriculum is written for elementary/middle school students and has no prerequisites. The class will use Charlotte Mason methodology to introduce students to the wonders of our life-sustaining planet. In this course, your student will explore and learn about the observable universe, life in the habitable zone, spheres of the Earth, mapping our planet, the forces that make and shape the land and sea, climate and weather, cycles of life, and unique places on Earth as they reveal the marvel and might of our loving Creator. 

Target Ages:  7 (mature)  - 13 years

HISTORY/GEOGRAPHY

Child will explore the globe while learning about different historical events that took place in various places throughout God's beautiful world!

Using the curriculum from Generations with Vision, Mrs Emily will take your children on a tour of the globe while stopping to learn about key figures in history! We will focus some of our time on learning maps from memory, as well! 

Target Ages:  7 (mature) - 13 years old

Meet Emily Murrah! She is a SC native, and is excited to bring her love for children and education together at Velos Collective. She has a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and has homeschooled her children for 20 years. She loves serving in her home and community to advance God’s kingdom!
