Dive in to open discussion on the hot topics teens face and see what the Bible says about these topics. Is it gray or black and white? Why do you believe as you do and how will you share your beliefs with non Christians?

In a few years you will be on your own to face a world of opposition. Ultimately what you really believe will direct your decisions and will impact your future family and your grandchildren. Why do you believe as you do? We will search out God's intent and instruction on hot topics as well as how to answer those who do not believe in God with grace and truth. The intent of this class is to have much raw discussion using the Bible as our main text. Using critical thinking, the students will work through the various realities of topics.

Target Grades: 9th - 12th (co-ed)

TEACHER: DAWNIELLE ROTHELL

Dawnielle and her husband have three daughters and reside in Hickory Tavern with their 36 farm animals. She is also the founder of the Velos Dance ministry, birthed from a burden to see dancers honor God in their dancing. Dawnielle has a degree in Child Development with a teaching credential and taught for seven years before homeschooling. Her and her husband have been involved in children/student ministries as well as fostering for several years. She is excited to inspire this next generation to be bold Christians.
