BEGINNER,  INTERMEDIATE  & ADVANCED

We offer the Beginner and Intermediate course and have now added Advanced for those students who have taken the Beginner & Intermediate course!

Course Summary:

Self-Defense skill is a part of a good education and the precious children we love so much shouldn't be without the skills they need to keep themselves safe.  Every child should know how to recognize danger, steps to avoid it when possible, and when not, the technique to fight back. Far beyond the traditional scope of self-defense or traditional martial art systems, the KDT system teaches situational awareness, self-preparedness, threat domination and physical recovery in the form of first aid.  Not only will you be given the education to avoid a potentially violent encounter, but, when needed, KDT empowers you with fast and effective techniques designed to end a threat rather than engage in an exchange with a predator.

Course Outline:

This program will develop not just situational awareness but, critically, situational wisdom and technical self-defense skill.  They will learn how not to be a victim and develop the know-how and reflexes they need to protect themselves. 

Equipment:  

All equipment is provided by instructors and students are not required to wear uniforms.  Athletic shoes and attire are preferable.

Target Levels: Grade 4-12

Prerequisite: No previous martial arts training required.  The class is for all ability levels.

High School Credit: ½ credit for the first semester and 1 full credit if continued through the next semester.

TEACHER: Mathew Kane Dolan 

Mathew is a 10-year veteran of the US ARMY and US Air Force. As a UH-60 Blackhawk Pilot, Matthew flew countless MEDEVAC missions abroad in hostile combat zones. As a Chief Warrant Officer, he has trained in the US ARMY’s most formidable schools including the notable SERE C High Risk course for captured pilots. After leaving the Army, Matthew immediately continued his growth in the private security sector achieving such designations as Private Security Specialist (PSS) and Designated Defensive Marksman (DDM). Matthew is the proud founder of Kanex Tactical LLC, an elite training and tactical equipment company that provides high end unconventional security coaching as well as customized mission specific gear. His mission is to fill the void in subpar techniques and to help individuals acquire and sustain self-preservation and liberty.
