SEWING - BEGINNER
The beginner level classes always start with learning and reviewing the basics of sewing: identifying the parts of a sewing machine, threading the machine & winding a bobbin, practicing consistent seam allowances, and troubleshooting the common problems that come up in sewing. Each week, the students sew a project that is slightly more challenging than the week before.
Grades: 4th - 12th
All supplies included...there will be an opportunity (optional) to bring their own fabric for one project.

Tuition: $145.00 (5 week session)

SEWING - QUILTING INTERMEDIATE
Students must have taken at least one previous sewing class.
Students will be required to bring some materials, including a jelly roll--pack of precut fabric strips for the table runner.
Grades: 5th - 12th
All supplies included...there will be an opportunity (optional) to bring their own fabric for one project.

Kylee has been sewing for 30+ years and loves sharing this skill with young, aspiring makers. She enjoys sewing home décor, clothing, tote bags, children's toys and more. It's a joy to pass on a life skill that kids and teens can use in practical and creative ways
Sewing is a skill that can serve you for a lifetime! This course is designed to teach beginner machine sewing skills as students create fun, practical items. Sewing teaches patience, precision, how to follow directions, and results in creative projects to enjoy or gift to others!
